A 55-year-old Melbourne man has died after he was stabbed in a busy street.
The Campbellfield man was allegedly stabbed while sitting in his black Mercedes Benz on Scammel Street, in the city’s north, on Monday afternoon.
The car reportedly rolled 100m down the road and crashed into another parked vehicle.
A worker who saw the alleged attack called police at about 1.30pm, 7News reports.
The 55-year-old man was rushed to Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening injuries to his upper body but later died.

The alleged attacker, Murat Siner, was charged with murder and remanded to appear in court on February 6 (pictured, officers at the scene)
Murat Siner, 57, was arrested at the scene and faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning, the Herald Sun reports.
It is believed the pair knew each other and had a verbal disagreement before the alleged stabbing.
Mr Siner did not apply for bail and was remanded to appear in court on February 6.
