Princess Beatrice looked stylish in a daring pale blue lace dress as she attended a gala with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi tonight.

The royal, 35, joined a host of famous faces at Art of Wishes gala at the Raffles Hotel at the OWO in London

Mother-of-one Beatrice looked stylish in a daring maxi-length dress, made of light blue, largely transparent lace.

She matched the frock with heeled pumps, with pointed toes, in a matching hue, and a small, cream clutch bag with purple and black detailing.

Keeping out the October cold, the royal threw a white jacket, made from a bouclé-style fabric, over her shoulders.

The couple looked stylish, with Beatrice donning a daring lace gown, and Edoardo wearing a blue two-piece suit

She wore her auburn locks tied into a messy ponytail, showing off her statement, dangling earrings.

Beatrice finished the ensemble off with a natural make-up look, pairing a dewy base with peach blush, a light smokey eye, and pink lip.

Meanwhile, her husband Edoardo, 39, was equally dapper, donning a dark blue two-piece suit.

He matched the suit with a crisp white shirt, a light blue tie in a textured fabric, and navy loafers.

According to the Art of Wishes organisation, which partnered with auction house Christie’s for the event, the gala guests included ‘gallerists, art lovers, Make-A-Wish supporters and artists to support and raise money for the charity’.

Among the other famous faces at the event were television presenter Vernon Kay, Tiktokker Abby Roberts, and stylist Evie Henderson.

The royal couple appeared to have left the children at home: they share daughter Sienna, two, and Edoardo is father to seven-year-old son Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie, whose mother is Dara Huang.

Sienna, who celebrated her second birthday last month, appears to have a sweet nickname, which was revealed with Dara online.

Property developer Edo shared an adorable photo of his daughter to Instagram to mark her second birthday, with the 39-year-old writing: ‘Harry birthday baby girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day.’

In the picture, Sienna, who is facing away from the camera, dons a sombrero and a long sleeved frock with a red floral print as she walks barefoot along a pathway which is layered with a soft material.

Commenting on the image, glamorous American architect Dara wrote: ‘Happy birthday Cece’, alongside red heart emojis.

Beatrice and Edo’s daughter, who is currently tenth in line to the throne, turned two on September 18.

Sienna is a name with Italian origins, perhaps chosen because of Edo’s roots. Meaning ‘orange red’, it could also refer to the Duchess of York’s fiery hair.

Beatrice, who had a close relationship with her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, decided to honour her by including Elizabeth in Sienna’s name.

Although Beatrice is a princess, her daughter Sienna, who is the late Queen’s 12th great-grandchild, does not have a royal title.

Only grandchildren of the monarch through the male line are automatically entitled to the styling of HRH. King Charles could bestow a title on his great-niece if desired, but it is unlikely to be asked for.

The change meant that Beatrice’s younger sister Princess Eugenie moves down to  eleventh in line.

Sienna will, however, receive a title through her father’s family as the toddler has other nobility in her blood.

Her father, Edo, is descended from Italian aristocracy and will inherit the family’s  seat, the 18th-century Villa Mapelli Mozzi palace in northern Italy.

This makes Beatrice and Sienna Italian ‘Contessas’ and ‘Nobile Donna’. Such titles are not officially recognised in Italy anymore. They can still, however, be used as a sign of respect.

When the couple announced Sienna’s name in October 2021, Edoardo shared a print of their daughter’s feet and wrote: ‘Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us.

‘Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and [her half-brother] Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget. This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying…. that with every child you grow a whole new heart.’

Sienna was christened on April 29, 2022, at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace. It was revealed by Hello in May that nutritionist Gabriela Peacock is one of the young royal’s godparents – with Beatrice also being godmother to her daughter, Iris.
