Terrifying footage has captured the moment two commuters exchanged blows on a public train before one of them was accused of being ‘racist’.
The incident happened inside one of the carriages of a Melbourne train in what appears to be a scuffle between two men.
A stunned commuter nearby captured the incident unfold on camera with the footage showing the pair in the middle of a heated brawl.
‘Racist man gets knocked out on the train,’ the caption read.
A white man wearing a red t-shirt and a pair of black shorts can be seen fighting off a black man dressed in a grey hoodie and black shorts.
The man in the hoodie throws several punches at his opponent sending him tripping over a bike.

The black man also trips after he loses his footing manages to stop himself from falling over as he holds onto the railing.
The white man who is lying on the ground is heard yelling at his opponent who straightens up his hoodie and stands over the man menacingly.
‘You want some more, huh?’ he shouted.
‘You want some more, you want some more, boy, hey!’
The man on the ground can be heard yelling back before the hooded commuter beckons the man to get back up.
‘Get up mate,’ he said.
He bends over slightly and leans over the floored man and continues to demands he get back onto his feet.
‘Get up, get up, get up,’ he said.

‘No, no,’ the man on the ground said.
The caption on the video suggested the man being knocked down was ‘racist’, but the downed man is heard in the footage making the accusation at his opponent.
‘Get up,’ the black man said in response.
The man in the hoodie appears to say something and once again urges the man to stand up before the video cuts out.
