A social media influencer has been shot dead in Brazil after gunmen ordered her to stop her motorcycle.
Samya Silva, 21, was attacked after she left a club with two friends in the northeastern city of Teresina on Sunday.
Silva and her friends were all riding on her motorcycle when two men on a moped asked her to pull over, the municipal police said.
The mother-of-one refused and sped away before coming to a stop and abandoning the bike, as she and her friends took off running, police delegate Francisco Costa said.

The gunmen fired six shots at Silva, who was declared dead at the scene. No arrests had been reported as of Monday evening.
One of her friends, Yrla Lima, took to Instagram to share a photo of her shattered cellphone which had been struck by a bullet.
‘Not being able to do anything,’ she wrote. ‘Just try to save myself.’
She also shared a series of photos of her and Silva together with a caption that read, ‘We had so much fun today.’
Lima and the other woman aboard the motorcycle, whose name has not been released, were not injured.

Samya Silva was known to her 62,000 Instagram followers as Samynha and regularly posted controversial content on the social media platform
It is unclear what provoked the murder although she did post a video on Instagram in which she made reference to an argument she had at a party on Saturday.
‘She was murdered on a public street. Police officers from the homicide and personal protection department immediately took steps to begin investigations,’ the Piauí State Civil Police said in statement to Brazilian news outlet UOL.
Silva, who leaves behind a two-year-old son, had more than 62,000 followers on her Instagram account @samynha_sillva.
Silva was known for posting controversial content on her account.
In August, she drew the ire of some followers after she uploaded a video showing her support for the legalization of marijuana.
‘I’m going to smoke ‘one’ in the square and I’m going to be able to be free because I’m not going to be called a naughty stoner,’ she said.
She had also shared a video in which she flashed hand signals in reference to a local gang.
