A man who carried out random and unprovoked attacks on three people with a glass bottle in New York City Thursday has been arrested and charged with assault.
Suspect Michael Howell, 33, was taken into custody after he allegedly injured a 23-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman, and a 55-year-old woman in a string of attacks.
The first assaults occurred at a Whole Foods on Sixth Avenue – just across from Bryant Park – around 6.30pm while the third happened immediately after.
