Three men have been rushed to hospital with multiple stab wounds and two others have been arrested after an alleged altercation during the peak afternoon commute near Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Mount Juillerat Dr and School Rd in Redbank Plains just after 5pm on Friday following reports of an alleged assault.
A man aged in his 30s who suffered ‘significant’ stab wounds to his back and legs was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
A second man in his 30s who suffered a head injury was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
A third man in his 20s was also taken to hospital with a shoulder injury.
Two men were detained and are assisting police with inquiries.

No charges have yet been laid at this early stage.
The alleged attack occured near a busy intersection just metres away from a bustling shopping precinct.

A crime scene has been declared as police launch an investigation.
