Police responded to a shooting in Harris County, Texas where multiple people were shot and at least two are deceased. 

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez posted on Facebook that deputies responded to a shooting at the 8700 block of Cypressbrook Drive Sunday morning.

He said the shooting possibly stemmed from a family dispute, likely over a breakup or divorce.

Two people were confirmed dead on the scene, two others with gunshot wounds were taken to the hospital.

The scene is contained and there is no active threat the community.

Sheriff Gonzalez initially wrote that at least four people were killed, but updated that two were dead on the scene and two have been hospitalized.
