A school has been placed into lockdown after a student was stabbed and a girl taken into custody.
The schoolboy was knifed at Caloundra State High School on the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, at 10am on Tuesday.
He was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with wounds to his stomach.
The girl has been taken into custody.
Several police cars were seen going to and from the school.
