Stunning new AI-generated images give a new look at what some members of the infamous ’27 Club’ may look like today if not for their untimely deaths.

The images published online show notable names like Amy Winehouse with her signature beehive hairstyle, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison.

The musicians are all members of the ’27 Club’ – or ‘Forever 27’ – a group of famous artists, actors, and icons who died prematurely, all at the age of 27.

The new AI images created by MidJourney offer a look at what some of these musicians would be up to in 2024.

Amy Winehouse (pictured)  is the most recent member of the ’27 Club’ which is comprised of musicians and other notable figures who have died at the age of 27

This is what AI thinks Amy Winehouse would look like today. If the British singer were alive, she would be 40-years-old

Winehouse is the most recent addition to the so-called ’27 Club’ after her untimely death at her apartment in July 2011.

The ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ crooner died of alcohol poisoning.

The only other female musician included on the list is Janis Joplin, who died from a heroin overdose at the Landmark Motor Hotel on October 4, 1970.

The ‘Me and Bobby McGee’ singer – a rock and blues icon and one of the first members of the ’27 Club – would be 80 years old if she were still alive today.

The AI images assume that the singer would still have long hair, a new face tattoo, and would still be ever as addicted to her long-chained jewelry.

Another photo shows the singer still on her guitar and rocking out in old age.

Jimi Hendrix died just weeks before Joplin on September 18, 1970 at London’s St. Mary Abbots Hospital from a barbiturate overdose.

Hendrix was just a few months shy of his 28th birthday at the time of his death and has since been remembered as one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

AI posited that Hendrix would still be rocking his groovy attire if he were alive today.

Hendrix, prior to his death, devoted a song to arguably the first member of the ’27 Club,’ Brian Jones – guitarist for The Rolling Stones.

Jones drowned in his Sussex, England home’s swimming pool in June 1969.

His death – which sparked conspiracy theories about potential foul play – was the first in the long line of musicians who fell victim to an untimely death.

In his AI images, Jones appears to have a distinct rock swagger to him as he holds a guitar and rocks his signature blonde shaggy hairdo.

Coincidentally, Jim Morrison of The Doors published a poem called ‘Ode to L.A. While Thinking of Brian Jones Deceased’ following Jones’ death.

Exactly two years to the day after Jones died, Morrison himself died in a bathtub in Paris, France from congestive heart failure.

In his AI images, The Doors vocalist is still cool and rocking a head of gray hair not far from his original shaggy locks.

Morrison looks grim at an imaginary camera while apparently sitting in a café surrounded by people and holding what appears to be a small guitar or tambourine.

Just two years after Morrison died, the Grateful Dead founder Ron McKernan passed away at 27 as well from a gastrointestinal hemorrhage.

AI believes that McKernan would have grown out his beard and hair, which would now be white from old age.
