A popular southern influencer has paused her honeymoon to issue a groveling apology after her racist tweets from over a decade ago resurfaced.
Lunden Stallings, 26, was forced to address the ’embarrassing’ situation on camera with her new wife Olivia Bennett present – just days after the lesbian couple wed at their picturesque nuptials.
The pair, who were heralded online for representing the lesbian community in the US south and have over 700,000 followers on TikTok, wed just days before the old tweets resurfaced.
Fans online had been anticipating their wedding for months and were eagerly awaiting pictures of Lunden and Olivia in their white dresses – but the moment was overshadowed and the pair are now facing harsh backlash.

Lunden – the brunette – faced harsh backlash for the resurfaced tweets
In posts from 2012 to 2014, Stallings allegedly used the n-word dozens of times in reference to song lyrics and also in her normal day-to-day posts, screenshots show.
One of the tweets read: ‘N****s all about my business,’ while another said: ‘I’m about to clown n****s that snap chat me.’
In another, she wrote: ‘N****s go behind ya back like nun chucks.’
Lunden, who hails from Georgia, said in a TikTok apology: ‘There’s been some tweets of mine that I learned about yesterday, back 10 to 12 years ago, that had resurfaced.
‘That’s not who I am, who I was as a teenager.
‘I just want to acknowledge and recognize that I am completely and utterly disgusted and ashamed and honestly embarrassed at how normal it was for me to speak that way on Twitter and for my friends and I to address each other that way or for me to sing along in rap songs.
‘That’s nobody else’s fault but mine.
The nine-minute apology continued: ‘I wholeheartedly take responsibly for this. I am sorry.’
Her 27-year-old wife Olivia, who was sitting pensive in the background, said: ‘You were a kid and you were ignorant, it was shameful and wrong.
‘It’s not a reflection of your character.’
Brunette Lunden, who is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, posted the groveling video to her story – meaning it disappears after 24 hours.

Swathes of people have called the woman out on social media for her comments.
One person wrote: ‘It wasn’t just rap songs – it was like a hundred times over YEARS.’
And another, referencing their ruined reputation, said: ‘All good things must come to an end.’
A third said: ‘I was such a huge supporter of you guys I’m crushed.’
But others came to Lunden’s defense: ‘Well said – way to face this head on. Great response and immediately.’
People also found her posts during the amplification of the Black Lives Matter movement back in June 2020, where Lunden posted a heartfelt Instagram caption about how she would ‘never stop fighting for you [black people.]’
One person wrote underneath: ‘Ironic.’
