Kanye West is understood to be working on trademarking the phrase ‘YEWS’ for use on everything from music to restaurants and financial services.

The rapper, 46, is thought to be behind a filings submitted on October 2 linked to a company called Ox Paha Inc.

The LLC is listed at the music producer’s office address, located on LA’s Melrose Avenue.

The 26 filings, which DailyMail.com has confirmed are real, do not specify exactly what West plans to do.

But the Grammy-award winner, who performs under the name Ye, appears to be leaving nothing to chance and has earmarked it for uses across several sectors.

These include music and audio, entertainment content, financial services, beauty products, restaurants and more.

Other more bizarre requests include for use on ‘Common metals and their alloys’, as well as ‘industrial analysis and research’.

The choice of the phrase YEWS has raised eyebrows given West’s previous anti-Semitic comments which have seen a host of brands drop him or attempt to distance themselves.

Among them were Adidas, Gap, Def Jam Records and his  honorary alma mater the School of the Art Institute of Chicago who rescinded his doctorate.

West sparked outrage last year when he claimed he ‘loved’ Hitler and denied the Holocaust ever took place.

The comments, made on an episode of Alex Jones’ Infowars podcast, left even the famously controversial host stunned.

West told the show in December: ‘I see good things about Hitler… every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.’

Later, he said the Germans ‘had a really good leader at one point’, and denied that Hitler had ordered the deaths of six million Jews.

Several top brands moved to distanced themselves or drop West entirely from sponsorship deals following his racist tirade

He added: ‘He didn’t kill six million Jews. That’s just factually incorrect. I’m not trying to be shocking. I like Hitler. The Holocaust is not what happened… Hitler has a lot of redeeming qualities.’

Another incident a couple of months prior saw the ‘Runaway’ singer threaten to go  ‘death con 3 On Jewish People’.

Deafcon – also known as defense readiness condition – is an alert used by the US Armed Forces to indicate how quickly the military can be deployed during deadly emergencies and attacks.

When asked about his tirade by British TV show host Piers Morgan, West offered a half hearted apology and stated he was only talking about Jews who he believed had done him wrong.

He did apologize to ‘the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through’ but said he ‘absolutely’ does not regret the rant.

More recently he has been accused of making anti-Semitic remarks to his former business partner Alex Klein.

Klein claimed that West accused of being like all the other Jews’ after turning down a $10million deal to keep working with him.

Klein told a BBC documentary crew: ‘Kanye was very angry you know he was saying ”I feel like I wanna smack you” and ”you’re exactly like the other Jews” – almost relishing and reveling in how offensive he could be, using these phrases hoping to hurt me’.

He added that West, a one-time presidential hopeful, said he believed that Jews are working together to hold him back.

DailyMail.com has approached West for comment.
