A fan of the San Francisco 49ers proposed to his girlfriend, who was rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, during Sunday night’s football game between both teams, as live TV cameras caught the moment she said ‘yes.’
The Niners (5-0) beat the Cowboys in a 42-10 win at home to stay undefeated this year, and while San Francisco has every reason to believe in winning a Super Bowl this season, it was a fan of Jerry Jones’ team that actually went home with a ring this past weekend.
NBC cameras caught the moment when a man wearing a Christian McCaffrey jersey in the stands dropped down to one knee and pulled out a ring.
His lady, who was in a Dak Prescott jersey, could hardly believe what was happening, at the time.
Commentators Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth amusingly broke down the proposal while wrapping up Sunday’s game coverage. The latter begged to ask the question of whether the guy would have still gone through with his plan, had the game gone differently.

‘Would he have done it if the Cowboys had won? I don’t think so,’ Cris said. ‘I think he’s holding the ring.
‘You can’t start a marriage like that, with her having the upper hand. But 49ers win, ”Here you go, let’s get married.”’
Niners QB Brock Purdy threw three of his four touchdown passes to George Kittle at Levi Stadium, while San Francisco’s defense hounded Dak Prescott all night during this weekend’s ‘big-ticket’ matchup.

‘It felt good, especially going against the No. 1 defense in the league,’ star left tackle Trent Williams said. ‘Obviously, that’s a big test for Week 5 of the year. I think we pass that test with flying colors. But we’re going to get tested again.’
The Niners (5-0) knocked the Cowboys out of the playoffs in tight games the past two seasons, adding intrigue to this early season matchup between perceived contenders.
The rematch wasn’t even close.
The Niners led 14-0 before the Cowboys got their initial first down of the night and were never really threatened on the way to matching a franchise record with their 15th straight regular-season win and earning their fifth 5-0 start.
Purdy’s now improved to 10-0 as a starter.
