Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher chopped down trees at his £4m London mansion over fears that they posed a security risk.
Concerns were raised that the branches of the unruly hornbeams near the edge of the property could be used by intruders to access the sprawling five-bed home in Highgate, North London.
Debbie Gwyther, who purchased the house with the 51-year-old in 2019, applied to Haringey Council in March to have the branches removed as they were protected under Tree Preservation Orders.
The planning documents revealed that the application was made with concerns over ‘trespass/neighbour complaint.’
