An urgent appeal has been launched to find two girls who have gone missing and are believed to have caught a train to Manchester.

Destiny, 16, and Marley, 14, are thought to have travelled from Blackpool to the city yesterday evening, October 13.

Both were last seen in the Keepers Lane area of Barnacre, Preston, at 11.05am yesterday. 

Also, the teens have not been heard from since 7pm last night and police think they are travelling together.

They are from the Wyre area of Lancashire but between them, the girls have links to Blackpool, Preston, Manchester and Derbyshire.

Destiny is described as 5ft 4 with brown shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing black leggings, a black top, with a black River Island coat and black trainers.

Marley is 5ft 1 and has long dark hair with faded red colouring in it.

She was last seen wearing a cream crop top, cream joggers that say ‘calm’ on them, grey crocks with bright blue socks and a fur hooded cream jacket.

Also, Marley was carrying a beige handbag with a grey handle with writing on it.

A police spokesperson said: ‘We are appealing for anyone with information about their whereabouts, whether that be the public, the girls themselves, or their friends, to contact the police straight away because we are very concerned about their welfare.

‘Call 101 quoting log 1524 of October 13, 2023. For immediate sightings, call 999.’
