Popular Australian clothing brand Nobody Denim has collapsed after racking up $3.6million in debt.

The brand, known mostly for its range of denim jeans, entered voluntary liquidation on October 10.

The business was launched in 1999 in Melbourne, with The Iconic and David Jones both stocking Nobody Denim items.

The company’s largest creditor is its manufacturer, Denim 108, who is owed $2.6million, Ragtrader reported.

PayPal and Australia Post are also owed tens of thousands.

However, in some good news for Nobody Denim fans, the brand has been snapped up Queensland clothing company, Outland Denim.
