America’s favorite fast food chain is Chick-fil-A, ranking number one in 34 states, an analysis found.

The Center for Disease Control found over a span of three years 36.6 percent of US adults eat fast food on a given day.

CashNetUSA identified the best-known quick service restaurants in five categories and analyzed their Google Maps ratings across all 50 states to find the top and worst rated restaurants.

They broke down the analysis into five cuisines, burgers, pizza, doughnuts, chicken and Mexican food. 

‘Eat Mor Chikin’ shop Chick-fil-A is the country’s favorite, while Papa John’s pizza ranked at the bottom in 16 states. 

Here is how the restaurants breakdown by category. 

Burger Chains

Five Guys is America’s favorite burger-joint coming in as the top rated shop in 29 states.

McDonald’s and Burger King tied for the lowest rated in the burger category, coming in last in 24 states each.

The ‘home of the Original Chicken Sandwich’ continually places first on the American Customer Satisfaction Index Restaurant Study. 

Chick-fil-A has an 85 percent satisfaction rate based on data collected from April 2022 through March 2023.
