An Instagram video was shared by a Reddit user of a group of motorcyclists doing donuts and causing a traffic jam on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California.
The Instagram user known as @baggerkilla posted the video on Saturday with the caption: ‘You ever shut down a major bridge.’
At least five riders were doing donuts on the bridge, but shortly before the end of the video, another biker joined in from the crowd.
The video poster also has motorcycle experience, and his Instagram is flooded with videos similar to what occurred at the California bridge.
People on Instagram have been supporting the San Francisco donuts made by the bikers, while Reddit users have shown disdain over the riders actions.

One person said: ‘I can’t believe people get so mad when they see that, I would hope out of the car and ask for a ride.’
Another person said: ‘I love that type of activity.’
Despite showing support, there was one Instagram user that said the ride should’ve taken place somewhere else.’
He said: ‘That’s dope but should have done it at the middle of the bridge in between both towers! Then look out at the ocean!!! Still dope though!’

Another person stated: These are the type of motorcycle riders that give the rest a bad name.’
‘I feel bad hoping they fall,’ said one Reddit user.
‘But then I read all the enabling comments and their cringe replies and I don’t feel bad anymore.’

It’s possible this ‘donut event’ was not a coincidence for all of the riders.
The user that posted the video on social media is associated with the West Coast Connection stunt team – a gang of motorcyclists who complete stunts all throughout California.
The team has also participated in a variety of rides in Oregon and Nevada.
Videos from their social media page show several motorcyclists popping wheelies and doing donuts on busy roads out of the blue.
Most of the rides shown on their social media indicate that the team travels in large packs that is similar to the size of the amount of cyclists seen at the Golden Gate Bridge.
The team also posted hints of their possible participation at the bridge on October 14 – once on July 26, and another on August 30 with the caption: ‘We hope to see as many people as possible!’
It’s unclear is @baggerkilla did take the actual video, but the angle indicates that it was taken while the film taker was sitting on a motorbike.
