A top partner at accounting firm KPMG has gone missing, sparking grave concerns for his wellbeing.
David Ibels, 43, has been missing from Queensland‘s south-east since Saturday morning.
A family member was the last to hear from him at 4:45am while he was in the Brisbane suburb of New Farm.
Mr Ibels, who is understood to be a partner at KPMG Australia, has not been seen or heard from since.
His disappearance was reported to police who are currently searching for the father-of-one.

A close of friend Mr Ibels’s claimed he went missing in the ‘MT Tamborine area’ in a post shared to Facebook.
‘We are very concerned about his welfare and would like your help in locating him,’ the friend wrote.
‘This has been reported to the local police but we would like the help of your community to find him.’
‘His wife and young daughter are very concerned and would like to speak to him.’
The friend described Mr Ibels as being ‘6 foot 4 inches tall with strawberry blonde / red hair with a beard and blue eyes’.
It is believed Mr Ibels could be driving a black 2015 Porsche Cayenne station wagon with the registration 692 WJM
